  • Wellbeing at Eaton

We make being your best self work.

Our culture of wellbeing:

We aspire to ensure the safety, health and wellbeing of our employees. We do this by helping all our employees maximize their physical, financial and emotional wellbeing, both at work and at home.

Our view of wellbeing is a holistic approach beyond just at work. We encourage our employees to be their most authentic selves, starting with a healthy, well-balanced and financially stable life.

Our Wellbeing Champions network and Mental Health Allies community

  • Wellbeing Champions are advocates around the world committed to the wellbeing of Eaton employees.
  • Mental Health Allies are advocates and colleagues that are trusted ambassadors for people seeking support or information on mental health for themselves or someone they know. The goal of the Mental Health Allies community is to start the conversation, offer support, be patient, and provide hope.
Eaton’s 3 dimensions of wellbeing focus on increasing engagement and productivity, and improving health risks. We believe wellbeing is a state of balance that consists of having the appropriate resources, opportunities, and challenges needed to achieve optimal health and performance for the individual and the organization. Our culture of wellbeing is anchored by the global framework of country-level assessments of resources and commitment to ensure our employees have the knowledge and support needed to live well.

  • Know Your Numbers : Knowing important numbers such as blood pressure, cholesterol, blood glucose, and body mass index (BMI), helps you understand your own physical health and what contributes to having enough energy to thrive every day. With this “biometric” information, you can learn what to do to take charge and be well. Many of Eaton’s locations host an on-site screening, available at no cost to employees, to provide you with important health numbers.

Fitness Incentives: On-site gyms where available, OnePass Select fitness program (U.S.), Fitness Reimbursement Program

  • Each Eaton location hosts at least one fitness event each year and many sites participate in site challenges with various fitness activities available.

  • Eaton reimburses employees for engaging in their personal health by reimbursing for gym memberships, fitness classes, personal fitness equipment and more.

Eat Healthy program powered by the Cleveland Clinic

  • Eating a healthy diet prevents the risk of developing chronic health conditions linked to obesity, such as diabetes and heart disease. An important step in empowering employees to live well is providing convenient nutritional choices at work. To support employees in this commitment, our locations that offer food service offer primarily healthy menu items. Eaton locations and their food service providers have access to a registered dietician for advice in maintaining this healthy environment.
